Description
The purpose of this project is to create an ebook guide that will help students develop critical thinking skills, necessary to use popular online tools in a safe and ethical way. The general purpose is to prepare the students through these skills to become active and responsible workers in a highly technological society.
Aims
To increase the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in a safe and ethical manner, with particular attention to key skills relating to: • online safety • authenticating online information • understanding of the importance of copyright laws and plagiarism • protecting own privacy • managing online relationships • dealing with cyberbullying To work collaboratively with teachers and pupils of other European schools.

    A video conference between the groups is held via Skype or oVoo, where one of the students in each group introduces the class as a whole. Students get to know each other online, talking, posing extra questions and cross-checking information exchanged in the videos and the quizzes.
