    Watch live as Diana Laurillard introduces the event using Google Hangouts-On-Air. Diana will explain the structure of the event and the two challenges we will address: the pedagogic challenge of moving online and the workload challenge that stems from this. Diana will demonstrate how the Learning Designer can help us respond to the pedagogic challenge of moving online, and explore some existing online/blended learning designs.

Let's pool the knowledge that already exists in our community to start tackling the challenges of moving learning and teaching online. Feel free to ask questions to help clarify the issues or offering a different perspective to bring the topics into focus. Do you see connections between your challenge and those posted by others? What are the links between them? How can learning design help?
