Investigate15Write 2 or 3 sentences to explain the mesures you have to lead to obtain the average speed of a walking pupil. Commun procedure and drawing.

Practice25Each team (3 or 4 pupils) take 1 chronometer and 1 meter outside. Each team draw a straight line of 4 m on the floor and mesure the time to cross this 4 meter by walk of each pupils. Sum up the datas on the computer. Calculate the average speed of each pupil, of each team and of all the class.

Discuss10Discuss with the pupils about the date measurments : How they walked (regular irrégular on the line, ...). Measurment mistakes (chrnometer, meter, ...).
