    To warm the students up, teacher introduces the wordshake game. The aim is to find as many words out of 16 random letters within 3 minutes, but the teacher asks the students to find adjectives only.

    Teacher presents the adjectives using quizlet flashcards. Students repeat the words. Then students copy the words into their notebooks using different techniques, e.g. mindmap.

    Students pracise the adjectives playing quizlet match game on the interactive whiteboard. Teacher divides the classs into pairs and asks each pair to come to the whiteboard and play the game. The winning pair is the one which finishes the game fastest.

    Using the animoto film the teacher presents the comparison phrases such as "As sly as a fox", " As brave as a bear" (phrases come from the song by lenka "Everything at once". Students watch the film again and write down the similies. The teacher stops the video to enable students making notes.

They take turns to type the word. They get a point for each correct answer. They have 1 lifeline to use - they can ask the teacher for clue.
