- Extensive reading activity for secondary school's classrooms by using ebooks from English e-Reader website. This activity gives students the opportunity of selecting ebooks that are interesting and appropriate for them to read. It is necessary students can use their own devices whenever they want.

Investigate6020Students visit English e-Reader website and choose their preferred ebook by literary genre. Once they choose, they decide if read it on-line or download it.

Practice30020Students will spend the next week on reading the ebook. If they want, they can listen to audiobook files, practicing their pronunciation. While they read, they sign words they don't know.

Collaborate20020During the time spent in the classroom with the teacher, students exchange their reading experience, asking help to find the meaning for words they don't know.

Produce15020Each student highlights the features of the literary genre that has been chosen by him/her, creating at the end a map including all the genres, that will be posted on the classroom's wall.

Third step: Re-Create your ebook and publish it on Papyrus.your story website.

Discuss60020Students discuss about the books they have read, by presenting the stories to the classroom. They will talk about the authors, genres and what they prefer about them.

Investigate16020After discussing about the stories, teacher asks to each student to change the final of the ebook just read, inventing a new one. Teacher shows and explains how to use a new website where students will publish their own ebook: papyrus.yourstory.com. They visit it before using it.
